VU Thanh Tu Anh
Dean of the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, a member of the Economic Advisory Group for Vietnam’s Prime Minister
Dr. Vũ Thành Tự Anh is the Dean of the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management. His research interests include political economy of development, public finance, industrial policy, and institutional economics. He is one of the 15 members of the Economic Advisory Group of the Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.
He led the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program’s (FETP) transformation into the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management – Fulbright University Vietnam’s graduate professional school. He led FETP’s policy research and analysis efforts and coordinated research teams. He helps design and deliver the Harvard Kennedy School Vietnam Executive Leadership Program (VELP), which is a high-level executive education and policy dialogue initiative with the Vietnamese government.
Dr. Tự Anh serves as a member of the Scientific Committee at Vietnam National University. During 2013-2015, he was a Global Leaders Fellow at The Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford) and Woodrow Wilson School (Princeton University). He is currently a senior research fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Tu Anh holds a PhD from Boston College (USA).
